Olive was probably first cultivated in Crete in around 3500 BC. It is
obtained by the cold pressed method. The leaves are used to clean wounds,
lower blood pressure, fight diabetes and to improve the function of the
circulatory system. It is used to treat Cystitis, Gallstones and lower blood
sugar levels. The oil is nourishing and improves the balance of fats within
the blood. It also protects the digestive tract, and is used for dry skin.
It is an excellent carrier oil used for massage purposes. This oil is
digestive, diuretic and anti-inflammatory.

This oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering herb, and is
produced in India. It has a penetrating odour. Peppermint tea helps in
